Aventureros
Client: Vermilion Sea Institute
(Description)
Nestled upon the shores of the Gulf of California within the Bahía de los Ángeles Biosphere reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Vermilion Sea Field Station has been a hub for scientific research and education since the 1970’s. One of their latest projects, called “Aventureros”, aims to promote the long-term involvement of the local Mexican youth, pushing them to experience the beauty and uniqueness of these ecosystems for themselves, and thus fostering the next generation of conservation leaders.
Filming and producing this project was a fantastic experience for our team: surrounded by the striking beauty of Bahía de los Ángeles, where desert meets the sea in a spectacularly diverse explosion of life, trudging after the kids as they discovered everything that their home had to offer, and being inspired by the VSFS’ devotion to their conservation mission.
