Ultra x mexico

(Description)

Ultra X specializes in hosting multi-day ultra marathons in far-flung, spectacular locations that give their runners the challenge of a lifetime. This statement holds particularly true when it comes to Ultra X Mexico, which takes the participants to the famous Copper Canyons of the Sierra Madre mountains of Chihuahua.

These rugged mountain trails are the ancestral home of the OG long-distance runners, an indigenous tribe known as the Tarahumara, famously featured in the book Born to Run. The chance to run alongside a tribe of people whose name for themselves (the Rarámuri) literally means “those who ran fast” draws athletes from all over the world to this five-day, long-distance event. Spoiler alert: the Ráramuri always win.
